Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer is one of Israel's most highly regarded actresses. She was born in Tel Aviv, and first attracted the attention of Hollywood after she was cast by Steven Spielberg in her first English-speaking role, as Eric Bana's wife in the Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). Zurer has been in a variety of Studio films since her arrival in America, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point which starred William Hurt and Dennis Quaid, Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Parts, which starred Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected in the role of Jeff Goldblum, and Willem Dafoe. Zurer was also nominated for appropriateness in 2014's best drama "Shtisel" as well as received the award for best actress in drama for her portrayal as a brilliant surgeon who is facing the death-and-life dilemma in Hostages.
