Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is a Canadian actor from Canada. Most well-known is her role on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series in the role of Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was a part of Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American, spent the ninth year in Poland. She lived with her uncle and attended an institution in Jelenia Gora. In the following years, she attended Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became fascinated by acting. In 2002 she began her first acting appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She also made a brief appearance on John Doe's TV series. From 2007 until 2009, she played acting in the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. In 2008, she appeared as Andy Jensen on Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to play Lacy Rand on Caprica's popular television drama with Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. Later, she was a part of Hellcats. In 2012, she appeared in the role of Emily in Jane Espenson's second season of her romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the role as Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. Although it was filmed in 2012, The Green Inferno was worldwide made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science fiction thriller film Volition. It was released in 2020.
